Ratification and Demonstration's Impacts on Small-Medium Enterprises (eps. Omnibus Law)

(10/12) Demonstrations against the Omnibus Law in Makassar City have been going on for four days with two days break on last Saturday and Sunday. This of course raises pros and cons in the society, some support, some criticize. The effect of this demonstration also affects small and medium enterprises around the point where the demonstration takes place. Endang, a coffee shop owner, feels more impacted by the demonstration of rejection of the Omnibus Law rather than ratification of the Omnibus Law itself. "Actually, the impact of the Omnibus Law on middle class enterprise is more positive, for example it is easier in licensing because everything is by one door." She said on interview with the Jeher News' team this afternoon. Shee has yet to feel the impact of the Omnibus Law or the 'Sapu Jagat' Law much at this time because this new regulation has more impact on upscale businesses and their workers. Mba Endang, as she is called, said that the demonstration agains

15 Hours Vs. 5 Minutes

Phew!       Tiring weeks keep coming around.. Task, task, task. Filling my whole week and making me like labour. It's D-Day!!! Job interview was in sight, which increased my tension. By the way, I was applying for Villa Listing Agent at Bali Treasure Properties (I attached the link below). As usual, Mr. A did some reviews and gave us the instructions for our job interview later on. Not long after that, we were divided into breakout rooms. I had Tonka as my breakout room-mate.       Unfortunately, he had not finished his CV and job application letter yet. So while we're waiting for our turn to be interviewed, we finished his CV and job application letter. He was little bit panic, but to lower our tension before job interview, I was trying to keep the situation relaxed. We waited for more than 30 minutes. Suddenly, my girl classmates started a group call and I joined right away.       We were all very nervous and one of us had her job interview schedule next week. She cheere

Hate - Love Relationship Between Me and English Class

Fantastic and thrilling . Two words that describe our English Class today. As usual, it started a little bit longer and caused by the same reason with last week. We discussed new topic today, which made me so excited, that was "Job Application". Actually, we learned this topic with Bu Recah, our Bahasa Indonesia teacher, last two weeks.       Therefore, we were not too surprised by the discussion, except for the language differences. We got a lot of new vocabularies and knowledge. Mr. A explained many things about our topic and frequently answered our questions. Suddenly, in the middle of the class, Mr. A asked us one by one to review what he had just taught us.       Frantically, some of my friends couldn't answer his questions and slowly made him super mad. We really can feel how intense the class went. Everyone shut their microphone off and were unwilling to turn it back on. One of my bestie, Biongo, that's how I call her, turn her mic on and very carefully an

Breakout Room Euforia? Here's mine!

Hello guys! I'm back with few updates about my English Class.  So it was on Wednesday morning and on the 4th class period. Our theme was still about Giving and Offering Help, but in deeper kind of explanation and application. We started the class 5 minutes longer than on schedule because the previous class ended a little longer. Before we jumped into our lesson, Mr. A asked us to do a little stretching to relax our muscle after sitting down for 2 hours already. Soon after stretching, Mr. A started the class. We had some reviews and QnAs, then we did groupwork in the breakout room. Everyone felt nervous because we didn't know who would be our teammate.  First, Mr. A explained what will we do in our breakout rooms and then gave us some examples of conversations and themes. After that we directly divided into groups. I entered the room a little bit longer to stall for time. Mr. A, please don't get mad at me for doing this, he he he. Okay so i entered the room accompanied by pr
